Willard makes LOLMDS Diamond Nationals appearance
Brennon Willard took on the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) over the weekend as he traveled to Wheatland, Missouri's Lucas Oil Speedway in for the 19th annual CMH Diamond Nationals.
Thirty-six LOLMDS teams were at the 3/8-mile track on Friday for the $15,000-to-win opener. Willard drove his Bilstein No. 3 Super Late Model to eighth in his heat and sixth in his B-Main, ending his night before the 40-lap feature.
On Saturday, Willard was set to compete among 34 cars for the $25,000 winner’s share. However, his car suffered an issue in hot laps, ending his weekend.
