Springfield Summer Nationals start for Willard
Brennon Willard’s Tuesday evening consisted of some weeknight racing as he participated in the 29-car DIRTcar Summer Nationals stop at Springfield Raceway in Missouri.
Willard qualified sixth in his group aboard his Willard Asphalt No. 3 Late Model and drove to a fourth-place finish in his heat race at the quarter-mile track.
He then started the 30-lap, $5,000-to-win feature from the 12th spot and recorded a 22nd-place finish.
