Brennon Willard makes CCSDS starts at Arrowhead and Springfield

The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) traveled to Oklahoma and Missouri over the weekend for a pair of $5,000-to-win shows. Brennon Willard competed with the Super Late Model tour at both well-attended events.

The festivities kicked off on Friday with the Triple Threat at Arrowhead Speedway in Colcord, Oklahoma, where 40 CCSDS teams were in attendance. Willard took seventh in his heat race on the 1/3-mile track, but grabbed the third and final transfer spot in his B-Main to move into the night’s feature. He started 22nd and finished 16th in the 35-lap main event.

On Saturday, 35 CCSDS Super Late Models were at the quarter-mile Springfield Raceway in Willard's home state of Missouri. Willard finished fourth in his heat and began the 40-la A-Main from the 13th position. He briefly ran inside the top 10 before ultimately coming home 14th.
