Brennon Willard Begins 2022 Season at East Bay Raceway Park

Behind the wheel of his Willard Asphalt No. 3 Late Model, Brennon Willard kicked off his 2022 season on Monday night at East Bay Raceway Park (Gibsonton, Fla.) for the Wrisco Winternationals. With a stout field of 70 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries amassed, Willard’s 11th-place finish in his heat race relegated him into the B-Main. Slated to start near the tail, Brennon was a scratch. (Heath Lawson photo)

On Wednesday afternoon after Mother Nature axed Tuesday’s program, Brennon took part in his heat race but was an early exit from his B-Main on the sixth circuit.

Returning to action on Friday after a quick trip to Missouri, Willard followed up a ninth-place finish in his heat with an 11th-place outing in his B-Main, ending his night early.

For the Wrisco Winternationals finale on Saturday, Brennon logged an 11th-place finish in his heat race, transferring him into the B-Main for one final shot at the $15,000-to-win A-Main. Taking the Top 2, Willard recorded a 10th-place outing.
