Pair of Top-10 Finishes in MLRA Weekend

Friday night saw Brennon Willard return with the Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA) at Salina Highbanks Speedway (Salina, Okla.) for the two-day Freedom Classic. With a fifth-place finish in his heat race placing him 10th on the starting grid for the $3,000-to-win A-Main, Willard gained two spots in the 30-lapper to finish eighth. (Todd Boyd photo)

The following night, Brennon timed in seventh fastest overall in qualifying before finishing fourth in his heat. With $5,000 on the line in the feature, Willard improved three spots to place seventh.
